One year ago today, on September 14, 2012, the very first Of the Week was published: "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31) Today, I am adding Psalm 145:4 as the second theme verse for this blog: "One generation shall commend Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts."
It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since the first OTW. Thank you to all those who have followed this blog. I truly hope its been a blessing to you and that somewhere along the way you have been entertained, enlightened, and encouraged. May God continue to guide you on your life's journey with Him.
"Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen."

Love that passage from Psalms. The Message renders verses 4-6 as follows:
ReplyDeleteGeneration after generation stands in awe of your work;
Each one tells stories of your mighty acts.
Your beauty & splendor have everyone talking
I compose songs on your wonders.
Your marvelous doings are headline news;
I could write a book full of the details of your greatness.
Mark, thanks for highlighting these quality resources each week.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to another great year of posts!
