“Which Road” | SONG of the week

Image
Artist: Luke Spehar Album: The Pilgrim Year: 2018 The time has come, and I must choose where to go now. Fear, excitement, love, and pain all mix within me somehow. From a distance I saw it comin'; it surprises me still. It's maybe like getting older— no matter how much we're told, never seems we will. I've come to find that I learn slowly and most of the time the hard way. I'm meant to move, but I tend to linger and stay. Show me now which road I should take today. A beautiful moment I try to hold but always slips away affirms the fact that I am not home, where those moments are endless days. And [to?] hold on [would only be?] to distract from what is to come, but to let go of anything that we know brings a grief of its own. Every season has its blessings and burdens. Winter winds are forgotten when it's warm. In the end, we can grow from them all. I've come to find that I learn slowly and most of the time the hard way.

Land Lines | CHROME EXPERIMENT of the week

Image
Land Lines is a Chrome experiment made by Zach Lieberman, Matt Felsen, and the Google Data Arts Team. In "DRAW" mode, you can draw a squiggly line or shape and see an aerial view of somewhere on earth that contains a similar shape. Once a map appears, you are told the general location. In "DRAG" mode, you can drag in different directions and see a line flowing between various locations. It's easier to do it than to explain it, so open the link below and have some fun with Land Lines. lines.chromeexperiments.com "God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good." Luke 24 | BIBLE PASSAGE of the week

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: and as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words, and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apo
