“Smells I Like” | POEM of the week
Author: Jonathan Ashurst
Date: October 9, 2012
Fresh-cut wood,
Like cedar or pine,
A brand new book
With a brand new spine;
Breezes at the seaside,
Cool mountain air,
Chocolate smells good
Anywhere.
Oven rolls with apple pies,
Fresh green grass under bright blue skies.
Clean linen sheets, October hay,
Home sweet home after being away.

Great poem! I like it!
